Today it was freezing cold but we still had a great day in NYC. It was around -12°C.
Really really cold. I took the train to the city and then I met my brother at Penn Station. We didn´t really had a plan what we want to do today, but finally we decided to take the subway to Brooklyn and walk over the Broklyn Bridge. It was so cold and windy on the bridge, but the view was totally worth it. Afterwards we wanted to have dinner in a nice restaurant in Little Italy. It was really hard to choose between all the restaurants because there were so many. But in the end I think we made the right choice and we both really enjoyed our italian food.
Then we had the great idea to go to the NY aquarium which is in Brooklyn on Coney Island. So we took the subway for a 40 min ride. But when we finally arrived at the aquarium we found out that the aquarium will close in 5 min. (It was already 4:30). Now we know it´s always better to check the opening times before you go somewhere. So we had to do something else. We decided to go to the beach. It was nice - but really cold. And there was lierally no one else here - except a few crazy people who had to go for a walk with their dogs. I´m pretty sure in summer this place here is full of people. So I think i will defenitely come back in the summer times.
Then we went to the next subway station and drove back to Manhatten (for around 40 min ...).
It was still freezing cold. So we just wanted to go somewhere warm. We still had two hours left till the basketball game starts. So we decided to go to see the movie "Selma". The movie theater at Time Squares is crazy. I don´t know how many floors it has. But defentiely mor than usually. After we´ve bought our tickets it took us around 20 min just to get to the movie. The movie was pretty good. But we couldn´t finish it because we had to leave earlier to be on time for the basketballd game at Madison Square Garden.
The basketball game was really cool. The Madison Square Garden is so big. We didn´t had the best seats. But we still had a great view.
